Freestyle New York – An Impromptu Journey Through NYC’s Late Night/Early Morning Indie Music Scene

Red Bull TV and Hit + Run team up to for Way Past Midnight: NYC Freestyle, episode six in a series that takes a behind-the-scenes look at late night/early morning cultural and entertainment hotspots throughout the world.

This episode focuses in on New York City, and features a few long-time fixture on the city’s independent hip-hop scene. Baxter Wordsworth known best for his artistry and for hosting the long-running End of the Weak hip-hop showcase, and his ride-or-die girlfriend, Amber, freestyle their way — literally and figuratively — through New York’s streets and venues, crossing paths with beatboxers, MCs, DJs, musicians and events, showcasing the vibrancy, camaraderie and beautiful unpredictability of the city’s musical pulse.
