Each month, the talented team of musicians of the PitchBlak Brass Band link up with one of best of the Big Apple’s indie hip-hop scene for a night of musical fireworks and lyrical acrobatics in an intimate, feel-good setting.
April’s guest was JSWISS, a clever wordsmith and energetic performer who has been popping up on stages all over the city. New Yorkers who missed him at The PitchBlak Playlist should catch him sooner than later. With recent dates outside of the boroughs in places such as Boston and North Carolina, JSWISS seems poised to head out and conquer parts near and far.
For now, here’s some brand new music from JSWISS, ahead of his upcoming EP, which will be celebrated with a June 24 release concert at The Bitter End.
