The eclectic wordplay and delivery from Birthplace-family favorite Homeboy Sandman tells a tale on “Happy Thanksgiving,” as Boy Sand provides a gripping POV account of a heated encounter America’s so-called forefathers might have faced, from the point of view of a keeping-it-thorough Native American.
Says Homeboy Sandman:
This cut is called “Happy Thanksgiving.” It’s the story of a Native American going out like a champ before being slaughtered by European settlers. It was produced by Psycho Les of The Beatnuts.
Homeboy Sandman, who is signed to Stones Throw Records, is currently out and about in support of his most recent release, Hallways, and will be touring throughout the United States along with Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic beginning in January.
