It is no secret that we ride for Homeboy Sandman around here. His ingenuity and wit, audacity and style is nearly unrivaled in the rap music world. All artists are unique, but some are more unique than others. Boy Sand just delivers the type of stuff we like. As such, whenever he drops new material, we are happy to spread the word. It’s the only time we’re OK with slipping out from behind our “journalistic integrity” and admit to collectively being a fan.
