French Clothing Line ‘Black Boy Place,’ Featured On Jay Z Tour, Opens New York Pop Up Shop

The mens and womens clothing brand, which provided the wardrobe for Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail Tour, will maintain a pop-up shop from August 4 through August 18.

The Paris-based Black Boy Place, which launched in 2010, will open the limited time pop-up shop to display its various urban wear offerings, ranging from t-shirts, emblazoned snapback caps, leather-accented hoodies and more. The brand’s latest “Black Excellence” collection celebrates African-American icons including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Michael Jordan and President Barack Obama.

Visit the Black Boy Place pop up shop, located at 355 A Bowery, New York beginning August 4 and continuing through August 18. A grand opening reception will be held on Tuesday, August 5.
