New York Hip Hop Song Picks of the Week – The NY Hip Hop Report (Episode 097)

Episode 097 of The NY Hip Hop Report with Manny Faces was chock full of issues, including an interview with Wes Jackson, executive director of the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, about MTV’s snub of the festival during a post-event interview with Mac Miller. Of course, we had to touch on the Bobby Shmurda situation, and we took a bunch of listener phone calls. Plenty of different opinions out there, and The NY Hip Hop Report is the place to air them out.

After those discussions, and a great interview with Urban Word NYC’s Hired Gun, who talked about that organization’s projects and fundraising campaign, we got into the song picks of the week.
