Jus Daze reps “New Yawk” – Inspirational Queens MC Pays Homage to Hometown

The bow-legged, belligerent battle MC reps his hometown over a slow-rolling, soulful Stradivarius-produced track.

Jus Daze, the subject of our inaugural episode of Six Minutes with Manny Faces, is an outspoken artist, known as much for vicious verses on the battle circuit as he is for tracks designed to inspire the less fortunate.

“New Yawk” keeps in line with Jus Daze’s descriptive style and honest outlook, expressed throughout his Walk Twice As Hard LP, released earlier this year. Through the song, the Queens MC describes his experiences in the gritty Big Apple landscape, speaking on topics such as high rent, crime, shady promoters and being able to get by, despite the struggle.
