Action Bronson – Blue Chips 2 (Mixtape)

Queens representative Action Bronson released his fifth mixtape, Blue Chips 2, the sequel to its 2012 predecessor. Along for the ride with Action Bronson are Mayhem Lauren, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller and Big Body Bes.

The mixtape follows a steady stream of releases from the gritty-talking, charismatic rhymesayer. Action Bronson, known for his cooking skills and penchant for incorporating more food-per-rhyme than most, continues with his often-utilized single-production-source-per-mixtape, as all the tracks were produced by Party Supplies.

The offering is generous, and delivers an abundance of Bronson, as the 19-track mixtape is not inundated with guest appearances.

New York radio DJ Funkmaster Flex recently announced that he was orchestrating a new mixtape set to feature Action Bronson, with a slew of producers in mind, including Jahlil Beats, Buda Da Future, Mike Will Made It and more.
