MC Lyte – ‘Cravin’ (Video)

We cram to understand why MC Lyte hasn’t dabbled extensively in music for the past few years, pretty much quitting while she was ahead with the Puff Daddy/Missy Elliott-enhanced “Cold Rock A Party,” but we’re glad to see one of hip hop’s hardest hitting MCs jump back into the fray with a smoothed-out, grown-folk-hip-hop type-a joint that’s got a perfect summertime vibe.

Not sure if this is the start of something more, but this jam will undoubtedly leave some cravin’ for more.
