YC The Cynic – Rude Boy Jamaican (Produced by Yuri Beats)

It’s been a minute since we heard from YC The Cynic, one of the inaugural entrants in our “5 Reasons Why NY Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck” series, but the young Bronx MC has emerged with a new track from his upcoming Good Morning, Midnight EP.

“Rude Boy Jamaican” is a slight departure from YC The Cynic’s normal fare. Still full of the playfully complex wordplay we’ve enjoyed throughout his previous releases You’re Welcome and Fall FWD, “Rude Boy Jamaican” delivers a touch of Behind The Music, as YC The Cynic discusses a bit of his personal life history over a smooth and musical Yuri Beats production.

Whereas past releases led folks to want to hear more from YC, “Rude Boy Jamaican” should also make folks want to hear more about YC.
