Operation Industry Shut Down (O.I.S.D.) is a collective consisting of J. Monopoly, E.Y.E.Q, J.O., Khid 2Che and Showtyme. An energetic and charismatic bunch, O.I.S.D. dropped Houston & 1st back in March, but the EP still gets play, so it’s worth pointing out. Dig the scratchy, jazzy tracks, and complimentary flows. Looking forward to watching this group continue to grow. Standouts include “Hers & Hers Alike,” “Harlem Nights,” and “After Hours,” a story undoubtedly familiar to many an underground NYC MC.
