Jersey City MC (and, if you’ve seen him live, a bit of a dancer as well) Mazzi, of Mazzi & S.O.U.L. Purpose, wants to let everyone know what his ideal lady is about, and drops a video to help illustrate the atmosphere created by “Lady Ideal,” a track from the street album The Inspection.
Mazzi & S.O.U.L. Purpose, a long-standing fixture on the New York City underground scene, enlisted Statik Selektah to host The Inspection, an 14-track free album, downloadable at www.SoulPurposeCrew.com. “Lady Ideal,” composed by Australian DJ and producer M-Phazes (whose work has been popping up all over the U.S. recently), is a smoothed out track, perfect for the lyrical sentiment.
Speaking of perfect, Angelique Cinelu stars in the video, convincingly playing the part of a lady ideal, an independent, classy, stylistic chameleon, never losing her appeal no matter whatever situation the day threw at her.
