So Appalled – Kanye West, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, RZA, CyHi – Watch The Throne Details

Kanye West has been pushing out new music every week, part of his G.O.O.D. Friday series. This has produced a few gems, and this last Friday, Kanye West adds Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, RZA and CyHi Da Prynce to “So Appalled,” in a re-release of a Kanye track originally dropped back sometime in the Amber Rose days.

The new version features a Swizz Beatz talk-intro, Kanye’s old verse, followed by the rest of the cast of characters. Jay-Z is pretty much the standout on this track, although as Ye tells it, Jay-Z didn’t want the track put out, as the song is supposedly  included on their upcoming project.

And that is the bigger news, the recent announcement that Kanye West and Jay-Z will be collaborating on a joint album project, Watch The Throne, which, as RapRadar points out looks like will have a heavyweight collection of producers handling the beats, including Pete Rock, Q-Tip and Madlib.

It’s all very interesting and so far, decent listening. We’ll be watching to see if the Watch The Throne project fulfills its potential to become epic music-making, or a bloated egofest.
