It was an Old School in The Bronx Saturday at The Return Of New Jack City at the historic Paradise Theater, featuring a mixture of old school rap and R&B headlined by Big Daddy Kane and featuring Chubb Rock, Melissa Morgan, Jeff Redd, and Monifah, but it was all about the Bronx as several of it’s own made surprise appearances. Peter Gunz performed his verse from Déjà vu (Uptown Baby). The Ultramagnetic MC’s took the stage during Chubb Rock’s set to perform Ego Trippin’ and Joeski Love came out during Big Daddy Kane’s set to perform “Pee Wee’s Dance”.
Check out this video of Chubb Rock performing “Treat ‘Em Right”.
