Guru Not Dead, Is Recovering From Surgery Following Cardiac Arrest

UPDATE: Guru’s nephew releases video accusing Solar of blocking family access to ill rapper.

As we, and many others have reported, Guru from Gang Starr suffered a serious heart attack over the weekend. While full details have been far and few in between, the word on the streets/net this morning is that Guru has survived emergency surgery, and is recovering. The seriousness of his condition is not completely known, although according to AllHipHop.com, “doctors are expecting a full recovery”.
