entioned, Nicki Minaj appeared this Saturday as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (SNL). In addition to her standard two performances, she also delivered a special appearance (and a pretty funny one) in a Digital Short, a video for “The Creep”, with (parody) group The Lonely Island.

To achieve musical guest status, especially so early in her career, is something Nicki Minaj called “monumental” in an interview with MTV. Nicki Minaj is riding high after an extremely successful 2010, and seeing her debut album Pink Friday reach platinum status. Nicki Minaj was listed as one of our “5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck” for 2010.
