A3C Hip Hop Festival, Atlanta – Interview: Jean Grae

While BirthplaceMag.com contributor Felecia Cruz is gathering up some exclusive A3C Hip Hop Festival footage for us, the festival themselves sent over interview footage of one of our “5 Reasons Why NY Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck,” Ms. Jean Grae, courtesy of LP33.tv.

Jean Grae - A3C Hip Hop Festival Interview

Jean Grae covers a few issues, speaking on her new album and changes to her live performances, describing her new album as, “involved, emotional, vunerable… Epic.”

Grae also talks about the perils of living intuitively, creating visual pictures through her lyrics, and her realization that C does not stand for “cunt”.

Love her.

Check out the interview with Jean Grae at the A3c Hip Hop Festival, and if you’re down in the A and you see her, tell her Birthplace Magazine says hi.
