Nas, Damian Marley: Distant Relatives – Digiwaxx Press Conference Video

Nas and Damian Marley, who have teamed up to record Distant Relatives, a joint album project, recently sat down with the folks at Digiwaxx for a press conference of sorts, to discuss their upcoming release.

Graviti Filmz released a video of the event, in which Dahved Levy (of WBLS) and Steph Lova (of Power 105) introduced and interviewed the sons of musicians Olu Dara and the reggae legend Bob Marley.

The duo surprised an audience at last month’s SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas with an unscheduled appearance and performance.

The Digiwaxx event also served as a mini-listening party, previewing a few tracks from the upcoming album. Distant Relatives is set to be released on May 18, 2010.
