Leaders of the New Cool Concert, Feb. 24, 2010

The eighth installment of the Leaders of the Cool concert series will take place at 92Y Tribeca in New York City. The event, which recently expanded to other cities throughout the US, will feature performances by Curren$y, Stalley, Skotch Davis, Tiara Wiles, Mikkey Halsted, Rich Hil, Esso and Nero, will be hosted Angela Yee (Sirius) and DJ Absolut (Hot 97). Additionally, an extension of “Don’t Quit Your Day Job”, Yee’s online new talent segment, will take place, with contestants battling for first place, judged by “an industry panel featuring Shani Gonzales (National Director A&R, Def Jam Universal), Walt Jones (Manager of A&R Creative, Sony ATV Publishing), Ryan Press (National Director A&R, Warner/Chappell Publishing) and Simone Kapsilides (Content Manager, DrJays.com).”
