Despite our NY focus, we definitely keep an eye/ear out for those repping the outer areas of the Big Apple. Today, we caught a peek at our old friends at Hip Hop Ruckus, and their interview with Paterson NJ’s Carlito Rossi. East Coast spit over some Down South-ish beats with coast to coast co-signs and collabs, and this cat just might make a lil’ noise. We’ll see. For now, check the interview and vid:
Straight out of Paterson, Carlito has already made his rounds on the blogosphere as well as some well known Hip-Hop magazines. Currently he’s working on his independent album “Carlito’s Way – The LP,” which Carlito promises will definitely grab the attention of all Hip-Hop heads later this year. The artist is also working with Bogish Brand Ent./Shady Records recording artist Cashis on a street album dubbed The Usual Suspects that will also be released before year’s end.
