[POSTPONED] Rakim, Raekwon at Stage 48, Mar. 21: Ticket Giveaway

by Birthplace MagazineNovember 14, 2012

The Feb. 8 show has (also) been postponed, due to the severe winter weather. The show is now March 21.

The God MC Rakim and The Chef Raekwon join hip hop forces for a December 20 February 8, 2013 March 21 show at Stage 48, a brand relatively new Manhattan venue, and BirthplaceMag.com has the hookup!

The deliciously designed Stage 48 boasts state of the art lighting and sound in conjunction with a mammoth 34-foot video screen, with elevated VIP areas and a mix of sleek glass and steel architecture. The large venue, set in the Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan, is hosting shows beginning in December 2012, and is already setting a grand hip hop precedent with Rakim and Raekwon set to touch down on the 20th February 8 March 21, 2013.

Stage 48 is just large enough to house emphatically sizable crowds, and just small enough to still get a close-up and personal performance. We’re looking forward to attending this, and many other shows at this brand spankin’ new hotspot.

Of course, we don’t want to attend alone, so we’re going to give two lucky friends FREE tickets to the show, to keep us company! That’s right, join us February 8, 2013, starting at 6 p.m., at Stage 48 to check out Rakim, Raekwon and 1Fifty1, on us!

Simply fill out the form below to be entered and we’ll randomly pick two winners. We’ll let you know a few days before the show if you won.

Merry Christmas Groundhog Day Spring Solstice!

(Of course if you’re not feeling particularly lucky, the best thing to do would be to but tickets to be sure you get to catch these two NY rap legends do their thing. Might be a good idea, before they sell out.)
