A Mission Impossible Theme flip lays the foundation for The Prototype’s “Still Here_”, an energetic statement from the long-time grinder hailing from the South Bronx.
The Prototype is working on a comeback of sorts, having seen his music dreams waylaid by group breakups and a stint in the military. “Still Here_” is therefore more than hyperbole, as the veteran has teamed back up with previous collaborator DJ Boogie Monster in an effort to restart his musical career.
The Prototype is currently working on his full-length project Pro.i.Am. In the meantime, “lend him your ears.”
