Working on a few things, trying to dig through the backlog of submissions, as always. Before I get to sorting, figured I’d throw up a new joint up here. Normally, Mac Miller is not in our jurisdiction, though the ability of the Pittsburgh native to make a name for himself, as well as sell all them records independently, has impressed us along with the industry. He gets the chance to grace our e-pages by snatching up a couple of vets to jump on the remix of his “Of The Soul”… Raekwon and, fittingly, Posdnuos, of De La Soul.
The ID Labs track is mellow and smooth, the guest verses vibrant and Miller’s contribution is cool as well. Just a smooth track from a cat who is making his way in the new school, but took time to pay a little homage to the old. We digs, and so, we share.
