Homeboy Sandman, our inaugural “5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck” drops his video for the KO Beatz-produced “Strange Planet,” one of our favorite tracks off of his acclaimed LP The Good Sun.
We last brought you Homeboy Sandman’s video for “Calm Tornado,” also one of our faves from the album, as well as the vid for “The Essence,” an eclectically-stylized take on hip hop. The video for the lyrically-intricate “Strange Planet” was directed by Nicolas Heller, who was also at the directorial helm of “The Essence.”
Homeboy Sandman joins Theo Martens and Lloyd Banks at the Best Buy Theater on Tuesday, November 23, as Lloyd Banks (also one of our “5 Reasons“) celebrates the release of his Hunger For More 2.
