DJ Kay Slay – 60 Second Assassins ft. Busta Rhymes, Layzie Bone, Twista, Jaz-O

Doubling and tripling (and quadrupling and quintupling!) the wordplay throughout the gritty head-nod inducing track, Busta Rhymes, Layzie Bone, Twista and Jaz-O (!) lace DJ Kay Slay with “60 Second Assassins,” a ridiculously-rapid-fire joint from Kay Slay’s upcoming Rhyme or Die LP. Of course, if you attempt to recreate the flows on this track and you have asthma, you may actually Rhyme And Die.

I was all ready to go to bed, when I came across this. Now I’m wide-the-hell-awake and so wired I almost punched my cat.

DJ Kay Slay - 60 Second Assassins - New Music featuring Busta Rhymes, Layzie Bone, Twista and Jaz-OIn any event, DJ Kay Slay is following up Long Live The King, a very solid mixtape release from earlier this year, and if this track is any indication, the heavy-handed DJ is bringing some heavy hitting MCs to the Rhyme or Die party (corny song intro on “60 Second Assassins” nonwithstanding).

Ok. Second listen while typing this. Layzie Bone does his thing. Busta KILLS it. Twista and Jaz-O REALLY kill it. Aaaand now my head hurts.

Check out “60 Second Assassins” below, and be on the lookout for more from DJ Kay Slay’s upcoming Rhyme or Die project, which Kay Slay once stated would be his final album.
