Joe Budden is taking a page out of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Fridays playbook, dropping a new track every week, leading up to the (now sort of pushed back) release of Mood Muzik 4: A Turn for the Worst. This week’s episode, “Black Cloud,” a typically cinematic-sounding, self-analytical piece of lyrical fire from the Jersey spitter.
Joe Budden has been building hype for Mood Muzik 4 release for some time, though it was just announced that the “sample free retail version” has been moved to November 9, 2010 (up from October 26). Part of that hype, whether intentional or not, has been an ongoing vocal and public feud with Amalgam Digital, Budden’s (soon-to-be-ex?) record label.
In the meantime, keep an ear out for a new track every Monday, and if you haven’t checked the (2-part) promos for the release, here’s your chance.
