Jadakiss, Styles P. – So Appalled (Kanye West) + Sheek Louch, Green Lantern Mixtape “Donnie Def Jam”

With all the Dipset reunion talk lately, it’s nice to see this collaboration from another of New York’s veteran hip hop groups hit the e-waves. Jadakiss and Styles P. join to spit a freestyle over Kanye West’s “So Appalled” track, which featured Jay-Z, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz, RZA and CyHi.

The D-block brethren turn up the grimy a notch or two, as Jadakiss’ signature voice and Styles P.’s flow ring a familiar bell to East Coast rap heads. It’s short of spectacular, and in fact, sounds a bit overpowering over the ethereal sounding track, but for the most part, two of YO’s finest haven’t lost a step.

Also keep an eye on the other third of the trio, Sheek Louch, who is gearing up for his slated-for-December Def Jam solo release, Donnie G, preceded by the recently released mixtape with DJ Green Lantern, Donnie Def Jam: Guerrilla Warfare Vol.1.
