Mary J. Blige drops this reggae-infused jam just in time for the Labor Day Parade and festivities, featuring a healthy dose of Gyptian, of “Hold Yuh” fame. Busta Rhymes tears into the track as well with a Jamarican verse and typical fiyah delivery.

However, general consensus on the track is mixed, and many we’ve heard from, give it an overall thumbs down.

My four sentence review? Musically, the track is fine, great choice on the classic reggae bassline, nicely done. Gyptian sounds good, authentic, while Busta’s contribution is strong, worth a couple pull up and rewinds. Mary sounds good, but odd enough, I think that melodically, her vocals don’t match the beat, particularly on the choruses. In the end, the song sounds more of an OK blend rather than a hot standalone song.

In any event, check it out below, and click here for tickets to Mary’s tour with Jazmine Sullivan, Miguel and El Debarge (hitting NYC October 12 at Radio City Music Hall).
