FinaL OutlaW connects with DJ Puerto Roc (Canibus’ DJ) to deliver “Up N Comer,” a fierce lyrical exposé delivered over a headnodding, lulla-boom-bap track, an enticing prelude to his upcoming album Unstoppable Love.
We’ve been following FinaL OutlaW for a while now, and recently, we sat down with the NYC “up and comer” for a fairly in-depth chat about where he’s been, what he’s been thinking about, and where he’s going. While we prepare to serve up that entrée, “Up N Comer” is a tasty appetizer, sure to whet your appetite whether you’ve consumed a FinaL OutlaW meal in the past, or if this is the first time visiting the MC’s verbal Café.
Unstoppable Love is FinaL OutlaW’s follow-up to his previous release We’re All Gonna Die, but the nearly two-year delay in complete projects hasn’t kept him out of the underground circuit, as FinaL OutlaW has easily been one of the more active in the scene, sharpening his intense performance skills, opening for major artists, receiving critical acclaim and widespread fan support, all while growing into a potent lyricist.
Stay tuned to BirthplaceMag.com for more about this dynamic MC.
In the meantime, FinaL OutlaW will be appearing at the Best Buy East River Plaza, 517 E. 117th St., NYC on Saturday, September 11 for a free performance from 1pm – 1:30.
