Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz Married – Wedding Held in Corsica

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz consummated the second-most interesting wedding in the hip hop world, tying the knot on the French Island of Corsica over the weekend. The Daily News says that the music power-couple had a small ceremony, with guests that included Bono and Queen Latifah.

The couple has floated in and out of gossip columns and been the subject of blog chatter since Swizz Beatz left his wife-at-the-time, R&B singer Mashonda, and began cavorting around with Alicia Keys. Before long, Swizz Beatz (Kasseem Dean) divorced Mashonda, and linked publicly with Keys. Soon thereafter, they were pregnant (Keys is due in November), and announced an engagement.

Recently, BirthplaceMag.com exclusively reported that Swizz Beatz was just hit with another tax lien from the U.S. Government, and still had multiple other outstanding debts, totaling close to $4 million.

First came love, then came marriage… Next comes…

Over the weekend, other notable weddings included former first daughter Chelsea Clinton, and (finally) T.I. and Tiny. Three times.
