A (2)Dope Mixtape: Empire State Edition

Despite not being deemed important enough to have been invited to at the 2 Dope BBQ this past weekend, we are still happy to get our digihands on A (2)Dope Mixtape: Empire State Edition, and in support of our New York artists, we are equally happy to bring it to our e-pages, to share with all of you, in case you haven’t caught it yet.

2DopeBoyz (who we respect) often gives props to upcoming New York artists, and generally have a taste in new music that works for us as well. Case in point would be the fact that several of the artists on the (2)Dope Mixtape: Empire State Edition have also been featured on our site, at one time or another.

Artists on the project include Brown Bag AllStars, YC The Cynic, Wordspit, Torae, Skyzoo, CurT@!n$, Tonedeff, PackFM, Che Grand, K. Sparks, ESSO, Fresh Daily, 8thW1, Sene, The Lessondary, Donny Goines, Jeff Chery and more. It was hosted by Dallas Penn and features DJ Slimm handling the mixing duties.

According to 2DB, there will soon be a bonus release, to feature Sha Stimuli, Sean Price, Bekay, Emilio Rojas, Nero and more.
