Skyzoo, !LLMIND – Frisbees [Video]

Skyzoo and !LLMIND drop the video for “Frisbees,” music from their collaborative Live From The Tape Deck album, due out October 5 on Duck Down. “Frisbees” is a lyrical treat, spit over a tough !LLMIND beat. Good stuff.

We last saw Skyzoo at the Duck Down 15th Anniversary show at the B.B. King Blues Club, celebrating the Duck Down legacy. With joints like these, DD is only adding to their positive reputation for delivering authentic boom-bap hip hop. With the upcoming, highly anticipated release of Pharoahe Monch’s W.A.R. (We Are Renegades), this could be quite a year for Duck Down, and New York hip hop, by extension.

We’ll definitely be keeping an ear out for more from Skyzoo and !LLMIND, awaiting the release of Live From The Tape Deck. “Frisbees” will stay in our playlist until then.
