3rd Annual “Rebirth of Hip Hop” Concert at SOBs, July 20

The 3rd Annual Rebirth of Hip Hop Concert and Showcase will take place Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at SOBs. The event, in conjunction with LD Entertainment and a slew of hip hop organizations sponsoring the event (including Birthplace Magazine), will be hosted by Power 105′s Cherry Martinez and feature performances by several of the NY-area’s hip hop elite, including Sinsay, Serius Jones, Fred The Godson, Quesfire, Mysonne, Mr. G.A.T. and Tone Trump.

A-list hip hop blogger and GlobalGrind.com editor Blogzilla will be co-hosting the event, and on the wheels will be DJ Bedtyme357 (Hate Money Radio) and DJ Lazy K, providing the musical soundscapes for the evening.

We’ve featured many of these performers on BirthplaceMag.com in the past, and each one has been adding their own flavor to the NYC hip hop scene for some time, so a night featuring all of these artists, as well as the inevitable “surprise guests” who appear at such events, will undoubtedly be a hip hop highlight of the summer.
