Jim Jones: Summer, Where You Been?

We were delivered Jim Jones‘ “Summer, Where You Been?” the other day, but it’s been a hectic weekend, and we figured everyone would get it somewhere else anyway, but today, after a fantastic time with my lil’ ones at Jones Beach for the annual Memorial Day Air Show, topped off by a great BBQ at the mami-in-laws, I caught it on the radio on the way home. Being that it was as summery as summer can get today, I figured I absolutely should lay it out there for those who may not have picked it up yet.

Jim Jones has stayed alive in the blogosphere lately, from jumping on the Beamer, Benz or Bentley remix/remake bandwagon, to a purported reunion with ex-Dipsetian, Camron. Aside from those music moves, it’s been reported that Jones will be teaching a class in the New York City public school system.

For now, we welcome summer along with Jim Jones, and all of the New York area. With countless hip hop events, concerts, park shows and festivals in store for the 2010 season, BirthplaceMag.com looks forward to crossing paths with all hip hop heads from around the way.
