Brooklyn’s Joell Ortiz drops another lyrically and stylistically sharp freestyle, this time over Gucci Mane‘s “Lemonade” track, providing another reason to continue to eagerly anticipate Free Agent, his upcoming full length release.
Despite airing out recent complaints-via-twitter regarding his annoyance with his label, E1 Music, hopes are high for Ortiz, who has been dropping consistent freestyles, such as his take on the “Beamer, Benz or Bentley” phenomenon with “Nissan, Honda, Chevy” and a highly infectious single, “Call Me“.
Ortiz also recently released a video for “Project Boy”, a song produced by veteran hip hop producer DJ Premier. It is unclear exactly when Free Agent will be released.
