Pharoahe Monch Partners With Duck Down Records to Release W.A.R.

Veteran New York rapper Pharoahe Monch is teaming up with with veteran New York label Duck Down Records to release his newest project W.A.R. (We Are Renegades). Monch explains, “I’m incredibly excited about my upcoming release W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) and my new partnership between my company W.A.R. Media, LLC, and Duck Down Music. I am working diligently to finish the work for a summer release and I am honored to join forces with the Duck Down family during their 15 year anniversary.”

The album is expected to boast contributions from a wide-ranging spectrum of artists, including Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid, Jean Grae, Styles P, Phonte, Black Thought, as well as production from M-Phazes, Marco Polo, Mike Low, Fatin, Lee Stone and Exile.

Monch will be performing this Friday, during Duck Down’s 15 Year Anniversary Showcase at the SXSW music festival.
