Method Man, Redman, Giving Out Free Easter Haircuts

Hip hop heavyweights Method Man, of the Wu Tang Clan, and Redman have teamed up with Staten Island barbershop chain Against Da’ Grain (ADG) to provide free haircuts to area youth just in time for Easter.

Both ADG locations will offer cuts free of charge to children 12 and under from the hours of 12 noon to 5:00 pm, on Saturday, Apr. 3 for the event, currently in its second year.

“Against Da’ Grain is a local business that’s committed to community reinvestment. A community that has helped cultivate business leaders and foster lasting traditions. ‘ADG Kids Cuts Day’ is a prime example of how a simple idea can blossom into a community tradition”, explained Tariq Nafis Zaid, Managing Partner of Against Da’ Grain. Redman explains the reason for his involvement, “Whether it’s free haircuts or family style BBQ’s, ADG is always looking for ways to reward its customers and I’m always down to celebrate their community efforts”.
