Kalil Kash – Bang [Video]

Kalil Kash just released the video for “Bang”, the first single from his album The Exit Method. The Newark, NJ MC frequently performs in and around New York City, and the “Bang” video demonstrates why, as Kash turns in a very solid performance, both sonically and visually.

Over a dribbling piano rolling over gritty, layered, head-nodding breakbeats, Kash’s vocal style is conversational and thoughtful, with lyrical depth, a solid voice and an ongoing verbal smirk throughout. The Exit Method is definitely on our short list to listen and review, but we certainly feel “Bang” is a worthy introduction to those who might not already be familiar with Kalil Kash.
