A judge ordered DMX to “spend six months in a Phoenix jail for violating probation and to undergo a mental health evaluation,” according to the Associated Press.

The sentence follows DMX failing of a drug test last year, part of a previous probation agreement. The article goes on to say that DMX could serve less time if he enters and completes a drug rehabilitation program.

Recently, TMZ caught some of DMX’ courtroom… frustrations (see video below).

After getting just a bit excited last year following a strong DMX appearance on the Ruff Ryders remix of Jadakiss’ “Who’s Real” remix, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit to hear more from Earl Simmons. More importantly, let’s hope he (finally) works out his issues.
