There isn’t much we can say about this March 4 event, aside from what was provided by the good folks at FreeIceCream.net. They really describe it perfectly. We will only add “holy crap, this sounds ridiculously interesting and further proves the BirthplaceMag.com theory that NY hip hop is far from dead, nay, we hold that it has evolved into a creatively progressive underground movement that simply goes over the heads of most brainwashed hip hop lemmings.”
Of course, this theory will be shattered if the concept of Queen-inspired hip hop sucks. But we think it will kinda rock. or at the very least, be absurdly interesting. So don’t be a lemming. Go Thursday night and find out.
