YC the Cynic is 19, does a lot of shows around NYC and has been on our radar, so when we peeped his “The Return of Slick” over at 2DopeBoyz, we jumped to check it out. It’s a ‘he-style’ over the Digable Planets classic “Rebirth of Slick”, and we’re happy to report that YC does not desecrate the original. We’ll be looking out for his February 9 mixtape release, You’re Welcome.
