Just came across the news/video regarding a performance that DMX was scheduled to appear at in Colorado. He arrived late, apparently after the place announced he was not coming, turned on the lights, and told everyone to leave. Conflicting reports on exactly what happened, though the video below clarifies a bit. There is no official news source reporting what happened, but according to SixShot:
When X attempted to force his way on stage, several authorities tackled him to the ground. His entourage and fans joined the fracas, and DMX’s publicist Pam Pinnock reportedly suffered a minor concussion and face laceration after being trampled on the floor.
Although X didn’t exectly do what he was told by the so-called authorities, we give him credit for a) wanting to fulfill his obligation to the audience, b) showing restraint and diligence once hemmed up by security and c) for insisting to the crowd that they should remain peaceful.
DMX drama continues, as he looks to reestablish himself in the rap game. We wish him the best, but also wish this sort of stuff didn’t keep plaguing him. He just doesn’t seem to do well on the road. Maybe he can perform virtually. Maybe a one-man show on B’way?
Anyway, check out part 2 (the juice of it) of the video capturing the event below (seen over at MissInfo’s house). Please bear with/skip past/ignore the intro/commentary/etc. from the locals who were on the scene capturing the drama on cam:
