Far Rockaway’s Cau2g$ releases “Hip Hop’s Rebirth” Mixtape

Seen on XclusivesZone, Far Rockaway spitter Cau2g$ (um, not sure how that’s pronounced but it’s all good), dropped a mixtape called Hip-Hop’s Rebirth, Vol. 1. An associate of the late Stack Bundles, we peeped his MySpace page to see what he’s been working with, checked out his flow over the NY Minute track. Not bad. Haven’t gotten to listen to the mixtape, but, for now, we’re not the judging kind, we only to relay what’s floating around the NY Hip-Hop scene, so, here it is.

Cau2g$ of Tha Riot Squad drops his 2nd mixtape today – Hip Hop’s Rebirth. Many know Cau as a member of Stack Bundles’ crew Tha Riot Squad. All Far Rockaway natives, Tha Riot Squad was hit hard when Stack was killed in ’07, and now hit hard again, as Bynoe is only a few days into his 3 year sentence for a gun charge.

Cau2g$ is determined to carry the rock for Far Rockaway, and titled the mixtape Hip Hop’s Rebirth for a reason. Cau perfectly mixes the fundamentals of classic New York hip-hop with a new type of flow for NY and clever lyrics. This is the future of New York hip-hop. The Rebirth promises to be one of the best releases of 2009.
